Four Layer Pie

From the Kitchen of Linda Proctor

Serves: 8-10    Preheat oven to: 400

 

Crust:

1 cup flour

1 stick butter, melted

½ cup chopped pecans

 

Mix crust ingredients in 9-inch pie plate. Press to form crust. Bake at 400, until lightly browned. Cool.

 

Second Layer:

½ large carton cool whip

1 cup powdered sugar

8 oz cream cheese

 

Beat ingredients and spread on bottom of cooled crust.

 

Third Layer:

2 small pkgs. Instant chocolate pudding mix

3 cups milk

 

Mix ingredients and allow pudding to thicken before spreading. This layer will be thick.

 

Fourth Layer:

½ large carton cool whip

½ cup chopped nuts

 

Spread cool whip over pudding layer and top with chopped pecans. Refrigerate.
