Mississippi Mud

From the kitchen of Leota Clendenen

Cooking time: 30 minutes    Preheat oven to:350

Ingredients:

4 eggs

2 cups sugar

2 sticks butter (melted)

1 ½ cups flour

1/3 cup cocoa- unsweetened

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup pecans

1 – 7oz marshmallow crème or more

ICING:

1 stick melted butter

6 tbsp milk

½ cup cocoa

1 tsp vanilla

1 box of powdered sugar (16 oz)

¾ cup pecans

Directions:

Beat eggs with sugar, add the rest of the ingredients to the eggs except marshmallow crème. Pour into 9x12x2 ½ “ pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

While hot, cover with marshmallow crème. Let cool….then ice
