Red Velvet Molten Lava Cake

From the kitchen of Aubrey Proctor

Cooking time: 22-26 minutes   Preheat oven to: 350    Serves: 4

 

Ingredients:

4 – 8 oz individual soufflé dishes, oven safe or 9” round cake pan

1 box red velvet cake mix (3 eggs and vegetable oil, or according to package directions)

1 container chocolate icing

 

Directions:

Mix cake mix according to package directions. Pour evenly into soufflé dishes. With a large spoon or ice cream scoop, scoop icing and place on top of each serving the middle, 2-3 scoops per serving. If using cake pan; place scoops throughout pan (it doesn’t have to be perfect).

 Place in oven and bake for 22-26 minutes or according to package.

(Chocolate will melt to the bottom and the cake mix will rise to the top)
